1. Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of aegiskeys.com (the “Site”) and any purchase you make from it. By using the Site or placing an order you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Who we are

The Site is operated by Aegis Strategies LLC, a limited liability company registered in the State of New York, United States, trading as AegisKeys. Our contact details are set out in section 19.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, and legally able to enter into a binding contract. By ordering you confirm that the payment method used belongs to you or that you have the account holder’s permission to use it.

4. Products and licences

AegisKeys sells licence keys for third-party software. Each licence is supplied unused, together with the information needed to activate it. We obtain our stock through our established supply channels and verify each licence before it is released to a customer.

We sell the licence, not the software itself. The software remains the property of its publisher and is made available to you under that publisher’s own end-user licence agreement (“EULA”). By activating a licence you accept the publisher’s EULA, and you are responsible for using the software in accordance with it — including any limits on the number of devices, the permitted region, and whether the licence is intended for personal, educational or business use.

5. Product information and availability

We take care to describe each product accurately, including edition, platform and system requirements. Even so, descriptions, images and specifications may contain errors or become out of date, and publishers may change their products without notice. Where a material error affects your order, we will contact you and offer a correction, a replacement or a full refund.

6. Prices and payment

All prices are shown on the product page and confirmed at checkout, including any tax that applies. We may change prices at any time, but a change never affects an order that has already been accepted. Payment is taken in full at the time of ordering through our payment providers; we do not store your full card details. If a payment is declined or reversed, we may suspend or cancel the affected order.

7. Order acceptance

Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we send you the licence or a dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order — and refund it in full — where a product is unavailable, where a price or description was clearly wrong, where we suspect fraud, or where fulfilling the order would breach these Terms or any law.

8. Delivery

All products are delivered electronically to the email address given at checkout. Delivery times and what to do if your order does not arrive are set out in our Shipping Policy.

9. Returns and refunds

Your right to return an order and the timescales for refunds are set out in our Return and Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

10. Your account

If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity that takes place under your account. Tell us immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may suspend or close an account that is used in breach of these Terms.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to resell, redistribute, publish or share any licence key purchased from us, other than as expressly permitted by the publisher’s EULA; not to attempt to obtain multiple refunds or replacements dishonestly; not to use the Site for any unlawful or fraudulent purpose; and not to interfere with the Site’s security, availability or underlying systems.

12. Intellectual property

The Site, its design, text, graphics and logos are owned by Aegis Strategies LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce or use them without our written permission.

13. Third-party trademarks

All product names, brands, logos and trademarks referred to on this Site are the property of their respective owners. Microsoft, Windows and Office are trademarks of Microsoft Corporation. These names are used solely to identify the products to which a licence relates. Aegis Strategies LLC is an independent reseller and is not affiliated with, authorised, sponsored or endorsed by Microsoft Corporation or any other publisher named on this Site, unless expressly stated.

14. Third-party links and software

The Site may link to third-party websites, download locations and activation services. We do not control those resources and are not responsible for their content, availability or terms.

15. Disclaimer of warranties

We warrant that each licence supplied will be valid and capable of activation for the product described, and we will replace or refund any licence that is not, in line with our Return and Refund Policy. Beyond that, the Site and its content are provided “as is”, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all other warranties, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free. Nothing in these Terms excludes any right you have under mandatory consumer law.

16. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Aegis Strategies LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, for loss of profits, revenue, data or business, or for any loss arising from your use of, or inability to use, third-party software. Our total liability in connection with any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

17. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Aegis Strategies LLC against any claim, loss or expense arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of a licence, or your breach of a publisher’s EULA.

18. Changes, governing law and disputes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the version published on this page when you place an order is the version that applies to that order. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of the State of New York have jurisdiction over any dispute — except that consumers may also bring proceedings in the courts of the country in which they live where local law requires it. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in force.
